About my pricing:
As many of you will already know, I work on a sliding scale.
Why?
Because charging every performer the same rate simply doesn’t feel right or fair to me. I work with people who are fresh out of school and unemployed, looking for their first agent or that exciting break-in role. I work with others who are on 4 major contracts per year.
The range in income for a working actor is enormous. This is already an expensive and challenging industry to be a part of, and I don't think only performers who come from an affluent background, or who are already working should be able to access training that will open doors and create opportunities. So, by having you select the amount, it’s one small way we can make a positive impact. The quality of the work is the same. All I ask is that you choose the amount that feels appropriate for where you're currently at. Perhaps next week it'll be different, and that's fine. This career is a roller coaster. I get it, and I'm with you. We can be raking it in one month, and really struggling 6 months later. Your amount can change every single time. I don’t mind.
I’ve been in this business for over 20 years now, with all the highs and lows it brings. Rest assured there is no pressure, and never any judgement. Thank you for helping create a positive change in the world of actor training with me. And to other coaches- I challenge you to do the same. Let productions pay you the big bucks. Charge actors a reasonable amount.
